Have you seen our new benches on the green at the top of the estate? They we requested by the committee from council funding and facilitated by our ever helpful councilor Olivia Rowley who work hard to coordinate their manufactuer and installlation. We are currently thinking about designating one of them at a "Talking Bench" as part of an awareness drive on the estate about the issue of loneliness. In case you were wondering about the poularity of the Christmas tree on the top green we can only say that they must be popular with at least one person as yet another one seems to have been stolen. The trees were recently moved by the council from their original spot to the side of the path in ordgrass cutting and to avoid an unsightly over growth in on area because the large cutting machines could not negotiate the trees. I thought that their new situation looked rather splendid and obvious...

Litter Pick October 2017

Another litter pick was held on Wednesday 4th October. Unfortunately only the committee members turned up but we did collect 3 bags of rubbish mainly from the top of the estate, curtesy of our parking friends who seem to think our road is the ideal place to empty their cars of litter that has accumulated in their car....
